Our Corpus Christi design is full of symbolism and meaning:
The ever-blooming flowers on this scarf are drawn to mimic a texture of skin, a reflection of Corpus Christi, the Body of Christ.
The cluster of blueberries symbolize the Lord’s abundance and provision. He feeds us through a physical harvest and spiritually with Himself in the Eucharist.
The monstrance is composed of the textured, ever-blooming flowers.
Behind it is a shadow of the crown of thorns, recalling Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary that we remember at every mass.
The streams of light remind us of the graces flowing to us through the Sacrament of the Mass
Incense floats in the background, reminding us of our prayers rising to God.
The light silvery mauve of the background is similar to rose, worn on Gaudete Sunday and Laetare Sunday—both which are times of rejoicing and hope in the desert, where God gave the mana to His people to sustain them and as a foreshadowing of the Eucharist.
